From what I can tell few or none of our politicians, corporate executives or federal agency directors are “enlightened”. Its possible that being enlightened (per the PNSE scale above) interferes with the ability to organize, manage and direct. And yet, much (most?) harm comes from that non-enlightened behavior. It would be interesting to dig into the correlation between PNSE scores and leadership positions.

p.s. that ranking above is my guess at least-to-most enlightened ranking: politicians are the least, and the “deep state” federal agency directors are the most. I suspect enlightenment is inversely proportional to status of the position.
